Dhobi Ghat is the largest unmechanised laundry facility in the world -- a working slum -- where approximately 1 million articles of clothing are washed by hand everyday. Mumbai itself is a city of survival; be it daily struggles in the depths of slums, following waves of terrorist attacks and foreign invaders arriving from across land and sea for centuries. This city tells its story of survival right down to its foundations; borrowing architectural styles from Miami Art Deco to European Colonialism, all built on land reclaimed from marshland and the Arabian Sea.

交通：乘坐西部线从教堂门出发到Mahalaxmi站(共6站)。从Mahalaxmi车站出来的天桥上就可以看到。
